Valley of Fire 5k - November 12, 2016

Our first 5k is in the bag!  It was a tough course, with a ton of unexpected elevation gain, but we stuck to it and finished with decent times.  They had 28 runners for the 5k portion.

Check out that elevation!  It looks like it was a run straight uphill, because it was.  Super challenging but we all finished. Valley of Fire is a gorgeous setting, and the smaller race size was perfect for our entry into the race scene.  We will definitely do this event next year.  It was worth the early morning wake up time and the long drive north.

Jeremy - 26.55 - 2nd place
Madeline - 37.01 - 7th place
Zachary - 38.45 - 8th place
Michelle - 40.44 - 11th place
